IdeaPosted by AlexanderS on April 22, 19101 at 00:33:37:
I think this is a pretty nifty idea. Imagine a line twisted into a figure eight. You know-- the Lemniscate of Bernoulli? Well, trace it out in three dimensions, or ten-- and you've got yourself two seperate universes connected solely by a single point in the extra dimensions. Twist your sheet into a continuing strand of figure eights-- and figure eights in higher dimensions-- and you can infinite numbers of universes which are all four dimensional in nature but connected to others only by point connections.
