The only funny thing about the impossibility of motion in spacetime (and wormholes) is that it's true.

Dr. Barbour wrote an entire book to demonstrate that there is no time dimension when it can be done in one sentence. Still his book is a good read and I would recommend it.

There is a new breed of physicists on the horizon and their work can be characterized with one word, 'background-free'. Dr. Joe Rosen, the former chair of the physics department ot the university of central Arkansas likes to use the terms 'nontemporality' and 'nonspatiality' to describe his world view. Everybody should read his article entitled "Time, c, nonlocality and a glimpse beneath the surface".
