Perhaps some of us are still in the black/white (yes/no) mode of thinking while many of these topics(blackholes, wormholes, time reversal and machines) are in a gray mode(could be, may be, perhaps, possible, but...etc.) All the "fun" in science is in this gray area! Don't worry, Rip Thorne, Wheeler,Hawking, and others, will let you know if a time machine or wormholes "really" do exist and it will not be these scientist that are speaking, it will be their math equations and a qunatum gravity model speaking.
