A time dimension forbids motion altogether, forward or backward. It does not take a Feynman or a Wheeler to figure that out.

Isn't it amazing that Dr. Kip Thorne and his time travel
colleagues at Caltech and elsewhere can claim that the mathematics of general relativity does not forbid time travel even though it does exactly that?
