The main result of extra dimensions is born out in the spectrum of particles at high energies. Some of these particles represent the symmetries of movement in such spaces, but all are likely extremely massive. Since the size of these dimensions is so small, objects, even the size of angstroms, move in them in what can only be described as a quantum fashion. It is more appropriate to think of the molecule's wavefunction in this extra dimension than its actual position therein. The excitation of this state is the particle described above, an excitation which is far beyond the range of currently-accessible energies. The properties of this wavefunction under inversion of compact dimensions would not be described at low energies as parity, but as some other internal quantum number. I don't think the idea would work.
