Thanks for throwing me the line about definition being outside the realm of science. These things are so fuzzy, not at all like the crisp clean lines of a chess board where every move is choreographed. What would a chess game be if the squares kept shifting around and the knight could only make a right turn on alternate Thursdays? Have you ever played Go? I used to think I liked it better than chess but hardly anyone plays it around here. It has an interesting philosophical difference in that it is played on the points on the intersections of the lines rather in the spaces occupied between them. Time seems to me to be passing very quickly and I don't want it to go any faster. You must be waiting for something good to happen. What is it? I hope when it comes to you it will be more enjoyable than the waiting was. You know how radiation is an effect seen when accellerating particals? We colide them because we want them to accellerate really a lot in a very small space. What would happen if you built a superconducting coil with an extremely tight radius and caused electrons at near light speed to circulate through it? If something is moving at light speed it can't move any faster so it can't be bent, because bending is a kind of accelleration. SO how can light from distant stars be bent as it moves past the sun? (Clue: it isn't the light that is bent.) Oh well. Hope you are finding things of interest to do. THanks for being here, RTH
