"Gravity to our knowlegde is a byproduct of curvature of space/time." This statement disturbs me. There MUST be another element in there. I figured, in my ignorance, that gravity was a byproduct of mass and density. However I cannot accept that spacetime cannot be bent without gravity. Nor a wormhole cannot be created without a blackhole. What is it in a star going supernova that causes spacetime to continually bend more and more...Is it gravity that causes spacetime to bend or is it the bending of spacetime that causes the star to collapse unto itself? Please respond.
