Maybe gravity can pull two dimensions together because
of its omni-force on all the matter in the universe.
And maybe since the universe is flat meaning 2-D that
is why gravity works the way it does.

An even higher omni-force would be the antigravity
effect or hubble's law causing the quickening expansion
of the observable universe. It seems the higher the
dimension the more omniverse to incomprehensable
proportions.
