Strings are very small and are coiled, right? Does this mean they have ends and if so what excatly is traveling on these coils? Are they like reel to reel tape containing information? Or do they have similarities to a highway of some sort. Finally, if they are strings I can understand gravity causing tension on on end but what causes tension on the other end?
