I'm not convinced. Time, perhaps, is a man-made tool to measure how much he can remember. I'm uncertain if that qualifies as a dimension. Perhaps the 4th dimension is that of motion. Where it is an infitecimal amoount of chaotic action and reaction caused by motion. You may then inquire where did motion actually begin? It can't have a begining if space is infinite and "lives" (for lack of a better word) outside of time. Space has always been here and, in its infinite extent, has always retained motion somewhere. I'm simply not convinced that time actually exists how we have come to understand it.
