It all depends how we see Science. In my opinion science must analyze
'ALL' possible events in reality (without prejudice what is acceptable or
not), try to find underlying principles and synthesize them.
We see - every day - in all aspects of society (Science, Religion, Politics, ...)
that 'other people' try to 'think for the others'. A filtering process about
what is allowed to think. My reaction: Don't let others think for you.
Thinking allowed.
Conscious, PSI ... are all parts of life and when we want to have overview
(the target of a TOE) we must include them also. So indeed experiments are
essential ... and probably there is already done a lot ( and archived for 50
years), as you know. The link between Science and financial sources is
important and finally finance will decide what we may think. If there would
be a real profitable business-model ... then the attitude would change of
course.
So were do we start in such areas of 'not allowed' experiments. There can
be developed a number of double-crossed experiments over Internet in an
independent way. Not really costly. Just a little bit of creativity. With the
correct design and some marketing + ads (!) and referring to the
importance for humanity ... it can be a second SETI! You see already the
niche? ;-). It's all matter of formulation.

to reference PSI concepts in general having a QM basis." Indeed Putting PSI
concepts in general as having a QM basis is of course the easy solution. But
that not conform my quest to basic the basic engineering picture.
Understanding 'Interconnectivity' is just finding the network. And it will
works with 1 and 0 , on/off ... being it by photons, electrons or
gravitational waves or whatever. The question is : how works the switch
that make it 1 or 0. Does QM offers a switch?.
