ComplexityPosted by sol on September 01, 2003 at 03:33:19: In Reply to: membrane causality posted by pelastration on August 31, 2003 at 18:07:48: Dirk, I recognize the importance of membranes as well, and the demands being placed on people, in regards, as to what they offer in the true sprit of discussion. I noticed immediate correlation in the fractals, wolfram and cellular automata, with respect to consciousness, and the roads to undertanding Gr on the macrospoic level(very simple) as well as the world of the very small(very complex). To venture forward on these two levels is it better then to speak from a cosmological level where it is much simpler to undertand, or from the level from you are attacking it at? If you have sound correspondance to the issue currently in consciouness research then you are safe(?) in speaking your mind, as it appears even Doc has become tired of the chitchat based on experience, and wants something with more grit. So if a reformation of a kind is to take hold here in superstringtheory( whether it will continue to exist in its current form, is something that seems to be coming in a future perspective). I would like to keep contact with those who wish to discuss, issues of consciousness from a daily point of view, as this is leading example of a simple verison of the cosmological approach, on a complex understanding. That's just my opinion though. Sol
